SENSOR SYSTEMS

The Gas Engine Industry has changed rapidly over the last couple of years. Modern Engine Control Systems call for reliable sensors supplying the data for temperatures, pressures or oxygen content. MOTORTECH offers a variety of sensors that have a longer life expectancy and are made for industrial application rather than being automotive origin. For several years MOTORTECH offers Oxigen sensors that can be used as replacements for the OEM part. Shielded and unshielded versions can be selected. To increase life time of these critical sensors, there is also a stainless steel hub available that is welded into the exhaust pipe. A Heat shield can be screwed on top. This way the sensor does reach directly into the exhaust gas stream with all it' s deposits and the heat shield protects the sensor against transient temperature from the hot exhaust manifold.
